Dear
Pet Professionals,
We opened the
countries first Puppy PlayGround
in 1995, One full year ahead of the first Dog Park.
We operated our boarding, grooming, training,
supply facility since 1988, with the introduction
of the superstores we watched several groom shops
and pet stores around us go out of business because
of there inability to compete with the big guy,
it became very apparent that we needed to do something
that they were not doing. The Puppy PlayGround grew
from the need we saw through our training programs.
We saw dogs every day that had behavior problems
because of an excess of energy and no way to vent
that energy. We found out very quickly that all
dogs could benefit from this form of socialization
not just dogs with behavior problems.

The community that we live in, like most across
the country is not very dog friendly. Dogs were
not allowed in the parks, or even on the beaches.
Consequently there was no good place to exercise
or socialize your dog. Basically we created that
place with the controls and rules that allowed it
to be fun and safe for all.

The benefits that have been realized from this project
have been nothing short of amazing. The obvious
benefit had been to our business, the growth of
all aspects of our business were just phenomenal.
The benefits to the dogs that participate in Puppy
PlayGround are obvious by the level of confidence
they display. And even the overall response from
the community has been tremendously positive. We
created a win win situation for all involved, and
we are ready to show YOU how to make Puppy PlayGround
work for you.

We now Manufacture PlayGround Equipment
that has been designed based on the experience we
have gained through many years and tens of thousands
of dogs playing on our PlayGround. These insights
allowed us to design in features that work but more
importantly we knew what would NOT work.

This Program has also evolved with a life of its own, NOT taking the
planed course. We are now looking for PEOPLE that are capable of managing
“Open to the Public” Group Play or would be willing to learn.
